Thom Campbell-Amons, 72 of Beaumont, Texas went from labor to reward on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was a cornerstone in the educational community with 44 years of service in the Beaumont Independent School District. He leaves precious memories to his wife, Judy Amons, two daughters, Yuri Amons and Tanya Prejean(Niney), two sons, Shadrick Amons and Ter-Kel Amons, nine sisters, Carlotta Macon(Melton), Angela Amons, Mahulda Williams, Irene Bryant, Sheila Durant, Janice Amons, Yvonne Chaney, Linda Simrel, and Astra Campbell, two brothers, Oscar Amons and Johnny Amons. Celebration of life service will be at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9am until 11am. Burial will be at Shankleville Community Cemetery under the professional care of Mercy Funeral Home.
