Tryon Petty McInnis passed away in his daughter's arms December 31, 2012 from heart failure at the very young age of 63. He was born February 8, 1949 to Dan Jr. and Vanitta McInnis. In later years, he enjoyed traveling and working in St. Louis and Las Vegas until he retired in 2008. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. In 1967, Tryon married his high school sweetheart, Jane Jeansonne and they welcomed one daughter to their family. Among his many adventures and accomplishments, Tryon and Jane owned and operated Fred Grocery in Fred for many years, where they not only developed a great business relationship in the community but also made many dear friends. He had a cattle business he enjoyed and they also developed and sold property on Toledo Bend Lake. Tryon and Jane remained close friends throughout their lives. Tryon was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Jr. and Vanitta McInnis. He leaves behind his daughter Tanya, her husband Rodney Cavness and six grandchildren, Larae Landry, Lauren Landry, Gavin Landry, Bailey Cavness, Cooper Cavness and Mamie Grace Cavness. His love and laughter will be dearly missed, but will continue to comfort his family and friends.
