1924 - 2015 Virginia Votaw Johnston, 91, of Beaumont died Mar. 3, 2015 at her home. A classical pianist and piano teacher, she played in the first symphony, taught privately for many years and deeply cared for her students. She is survived by three daughters, Karen Johnston, Kim Connelly and Judy Johnston; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. There will be a gathering of friends and family at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, from 6-9:00 p.m. with a private graveside service in Leggett, Texas on Saturday. JH
