Warren Dewey Carlisle, Sr., 73, of LaPorte, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, Houston. He was born on February 29, 1940, in Coushatta, Louisiana, to Lillie Lounsberry Carlisle and Thurman Carlisle. Mr. Carlisle retired as a project manager for National Oil Well-Galena Park. He was a Master Mason and a member of Galena Park Lodge #1290. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jo Carlisle of La Porte; children, Rebecca Susan Carlisle Ross and her husband, James, of Wiergate, Angelia Waren Carlisle Ulmer and her husband, Allen, of La Porte, and Warren Dewey Carlisle, Jr. of League City; sister, Thurmaline Lowrie of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Christian Cox, Cassi Rogers, Courtney Ulmer, Anthony Blue, and Ryan Carlisle; great- grandchildren, Lindsey Rogers and Aiden Holt. A gathering of Mr. Carlisle's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Broussards, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.
