1923 - 2016 On Aug. 29, 2016 William Culpepper passed away at his home in Coppell, Tx. Bill, as he was known during his many years in Beaumont, was 92 years old. He moved to Beaumont with his parents Wiley Culpepper and Edna Bares Culpepper in 1929. Bill graduated from Beaumont High School then served 2 years in the Army during WWII. At war's end he came home and attended the University of Texas in Austin graduating with a degree in business. He returned to Beaumont as general manager of Josey Miller Feed Company and later owner of that company. In 1950 he married Mary Helen Sanders. They reared their 4 children in Beaumont. In 1991 Bill and Helen moved to Estes Park, Co. and lived there until 2005 when they returned to Texas and settled in Coppell. Bill is survived by his wife Helen, his son Barry and wife Trisha, his son David, his daughter Barbara Tapscott, and daughter Donna Patton and husband John, 7 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 3, 2016 at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell, Tx. Interment was Sept. 5, 2016 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Tx.
