Zellwood Raymond Gamage, 88, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Harbor Hospice. He was born in Gilmer, Texas, January 26, 1926, but lived most of his life in Groves and Port Arthur. He retired as a Supervisor from Fina Refinery in 1987, after 42 years of dedicated service. He also belonged to the Masons. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Viviane Daphine Gamage of Port Arthur; his daughter, Judy Edgerly of Groves; his grandson and wife, Todd and Traci Edgerly of Groves; his granddaughter and husband, Deidre and Joe Turano of Port Neches; his grandson, Trey Gamage of Nederland; six great grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Aaron, Delanie, Jace and Jonah; and one great-great grandchild, Ryleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Erving Gamage; his sister, Hazel Morrison; his brother, Milton Gamage; his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Christy Gamage; and son-in-law, Howard Nonnie Edgerly. A memorial service honoring the life of Zellwood will be held on Thursday, May 15,2014, at 6 pm, at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with Pastor Donny Robbins officiating.
