Jack Carson Newt Reed Jack Carson Newt Reed age 75, passed away March 15, 2012 in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 22, 1936 in Beaumont to Arthur and Mamie Reed. Jack was an engineering draftsman, and was retired after twenty-five years from Englobal. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mamie Reed, two brothers, Arthur Jr. and Willie Pat Reed, four sisters Celeste Branham, Annie Mae Eckols, Gladys Crabtree, and Evelyn Oliver. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of fifty-six years, Snow White Reed, his daughters, Karen McWilliams and husband John of Sealy, Texas, Patricia Deshotel and husband Hillary of China, Texas, Kathyrn Roggenkamp and husband Frank of Beaumont, Paula Taylor and husband Tommy of Lumberton, one sister, Donnie Conner of Woodville, Texas, and one brother, John Reed of Buna, Texas, also nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
