Larry L. Joseph, 65, of Beaumont died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Baptist Hospital. Larry L. Joseph received his Journeyman Plumbing License November 12, 1974 and later his Master Plumber License on November 29, 1978. He later became owner of Larry's Plumbing and later Incorporated as Larry's Plumbing, Inc. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War from Sept. 6, 1966 to Sept. 5, 1969. Larry was afiliated with many organizations. He was a member of the Better Business Bureau in S.E. Texas Accredited Business since 2001, Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Apartment Association of SE Texas since 1997, made business person of the year GTMBC Minority Small Business Advocate 2001, the Beaumont Metropolitan YMCA Honored and enrolled Larry as a member of the YMCA Century Club for his support of services to young people, and contributed to several organizations to help others in need, such as the Shriner, etc. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with entombment at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home. Visitation, 12 Noon until 5:00 p.m. today at Mercy Funeral Home; from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church on Friday, and the rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Lorena Joseph of (45) years of Beaumont; three sons, Larry Joseph, II (Stephanie) and Jermaine Joseph (Rorie) of Katy, TX and Lance Joseph of Beaumont; two sisters, Ida McDaniel of Beaumont and Geneva Washington of New Orleans, La.; one brother, Kenerey Joseph (Diana) of L. A., CA.; sister-in-law, Louise Joseph of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Jaylen Joseph, Jayda Joseph, Jalia Joseph and Jasaan Joseph; godchildren, Danny Savoy, Jana Joseph, Ranada Fuselier, and Joseph Fontenot, IV; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
