John Mazzola, Jr., 72, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of the area, he was born on June 3, 1941, to Virginia Latino Mazzola and John Mazzola, Sr. John was a retired operator for Olin Chemical. Survivors include the mother of his children, Bobbie Mazzola of Beaumont; children, Catherine Mazzola Fullen and her husband, Tommie, of Houston; Susan Mazzola Wheeler and her husband, Gary, of Beaumont; Johnny Mazzola and his wife, Kim, of Concord, North Carolina; and Angel Mazzola of Beaumont; grandchildren, Tommy Fullen; Christina McGraw and her husband, Justin; Ashley Huff and her husband, Bradley; Haleigh Wheeler; Jake Wheeler; Morgan Wheeler; and Mason Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Bella McGraw, Riley Huff, and Kane McGraw; and sister, Marie Tucker and her husband, Albert, of Brenham. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, James Christopher Mazzola. A Rosary for Mr. Mazzola will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow, Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
