Jack V. Lewis, 102, of Vidor passed away on Friday May 23, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Robertsdale, Alabama, he was born on May 15, 1912 to his parents Amos and Beulah McRae Lewis who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two sisters and one brother. Jack was a fifty-eight year resident of Vidor and worked as a warehouseman for Eldridge Electric. Mr. Lewis loved gardening, carpentry, bird watching, squirrels, cats, and basically all animals. He especially enjoyed providing for his friends and all of his familys needs. He is survived by his loving wife Anna Belle Barrilleaux Lewis of Vidor, sons; David Lewis and his wife Pat of Bleakwood, Steven Lewis of Beaumont, four daughters Linda Lewis, Barbara Lewis, Carol Crane, and Amanda Lewis all of Vidor. Also surviving are three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 12:00 Noon officiated by Father Michael Strother. Memorial Contributions may be made to
