Melissa Elaine Medore-Moore of San Antonio, TX passed away May 5, 2009. Melissa was born in Beaumont, TX on August 17, 1965 to Lynda Medore and Cuyler P. Medore. She had formerly lived in Wimberley, TX and moved to San Antonio in 2002. She was one of San Antonio's new up and coming artist working in glass and ceramics. She was also a talented writer. She loved animals, gardening and most of all, being with her little girls, her husband and her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Sammons of Dallas, TX and her brother, Jay B. Medore of Wellington, FL. She is survived by her husband Beau Moore, daughters Camille Medore and Gwyneth Moore, and stepsons Hunter Moore, Cory Moore and Cody Moore all of San Antonio. She is also survived by her mother Lynda Medore of New Braunfels, TX; father Cuyler P. Medore and his wife Brenda Medore of Gulf Shores, FL; brother Eric Medore his wife Lily of West Palm Beach, FL; brother Mark Medore of Miami, FL; maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. J.W. Jackson of Beaumont, TX; mother-in-law, Margene Faggard-Hartley; father-in-law, Ben Moore M.D. his wife Diane of San Antonio, TX; brothers-in-law, Brian Moore of Blanco, TX and Michael D. Moore of San Antonio, John Faggard M.D. his wife Annie of Sandpoint, ID, Margaret Faggard of Poteet, TX and many nieces and nephews in Texas, Florida and Idaho. We hold her close in our hearts. She will always be missed by her husband, her little girls, her sons and her family. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 12:00 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
