Don H. Villery, 69, of Beaumont died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Prior to the service, visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. and the rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. He was a native of Saratogo, Texas, and resided in Beaumont for many years. In his community, he was the owner and operator of Villery's Grocery for over (20) years and Villery's Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. As an appliance service technician, he worked for Verrett Appliance Company and Bob Smith Air conditioning Service in Mid County. He was affiliated with Knights of Peter Claver for (50) years receiving his 50 year pin this past year, a member of Chamber of Commerce, President of Home and School Association for St. Anthony's Catholic School, a member of Kelly High School Booster Club, worked maintenance at St. Pius X Catholic Church, served on St. Pius X Catholic Church Parish Counsel for 3 years, member of Retail Grocery Association for over 20 years and set up the route for the CROP Walk for Some Other Place. His hobbies include fishing, dancing, camping, rodeo trailriding and playing the Wii. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Villery and his parents Robert and Ethel Villery. Those left to cherish his memories are: his wife, Elsie Villery of Beaumont; two daughters, Acynthia Villery of Missouri City, Texas and Sarah Villery of Pearland, Texas;grandchildren,Sean,Steven,Katy,Tosh,Bijan,Amber,Pablo(Paul),Jordan; great-grandchildren,Steven,Jonathan and Alina, and a host of other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donation payable to St. Pius X Catholic church in memory of Don Villery.
