Those we hold most dear never truly leave us.... they live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared, the accomplishments they achieved and the love they brought into our lives. Although it's sad to lose those who are dear to us, there is comfort in remembering all the times they made such a difference in our lives. Thank you for entrusting us in taking part in his medical care. With our Deepest Sympathy, our heartfelt thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to learn of Howard's passing at such a young age and regret that I will be unable to attend his funeral because of an out-of-town commitment on Saturday.

Although I know that Howard had health problems for a long period of time, he never wavered in his desire to be of service to our region and to the BISD.

Howard was a true community leader, leaving a legacy of genuine concern for our youth. He has enhanced our lives with his incredible spirit, and his memory will remain with us forever, motivating us to help more children and serving as further inspiration for others.

Howard and his dear family and friends are in our hearts as we grieve with them in the loss of such a special and wonderful person.

With love and prayers,
Regina Rogers

I will remember cousin Howard Jr. as a man of conviction. He experienced Vietnam, civil unrest of the 60s, and the TSU Riots but ultimately his convictions were derived from faith and family. Our heart felt condolences to the Trahan family.

Trahan Family: GOD bless you as you go forward in the days ahead, your husband was a strong man, who didn't let his illness control him. GOD blessed him to be an example to others, to show them that only GOD can keep you through terminal illnesses, yet still maintain dignity and keep pressing forward. You are in our prayers for strength and faith to move forward. To GOD be all glory, honor and praise.
