Robert G. Fehrenbacher, 82, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012. He was born on May 9, 1930, in Manhattan, Illinois, to Josephine Schmitt Fehrenbacher and Florian K. Fehrenbacher, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area for many years. Robert was a United States Air Force veteran and was a retired electrical supervisor. He is survived by his wife Patricia Fehrenbacher; children, Pat Fehrenbacher of Beaumont; Robert Fehrenbacher and his wife, Annette, of Vienna, West Virginia; Cathy Fehrenbacher Bowanko of Washington, DC; Mary Jo Fehrenbacher of Houston; John Fehrenbacher of Lumberton; Anne Fehrenbacher of Beaumont; and Margaret Fehrenbacher Pinkston and her husband, Ryan, of West Chester, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Susan Fisher of Dallas, Larissa Fehrenbacher of Kingwood, Matthew Fehrenbacher of Austin, Sarah Fehrenbacher of Kingwood, Britney Nelson of Lumberton, Gabrielle Flores of Beaumont, Rachel Bowanko of Washington, DC, Ashley Fehrenbacher of Lumberton, great- grandchildren, Benjamin Fehrenbacher of Kingwood, Isabelle Fleenor of Kingwood; and siblings, Marlene Simon, Kay Thompson, Betty Tuscher, Ed Fehrenbacher. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Florian Fehrenbacher; daughter, Jean Catherine Fehrenbacher; son- in- law, David Bowanko; grandson, Michael Fisher; and sisters, Mary Helen Fehrenbacher and Jean Berg. A Christian Vigil for Mr. Fehrenbacher will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont with his committal to follow at 1:00 p.m., at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont Memorial contributions may be made to , 755 South 11th Street, Suite 212, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
