Hubert Dolan Coleman, 81, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He was born on January 6, 1932, in San Augustine to Ethel Mae Vestal and Tommy Dolan Coleman. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict; afterwards he worked twenty-five years for Sears Roebuck before going into business for himself. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Jean Eason Coleman; children, Dwaine Coleman and his wife, Evelyn, of Warren; Sherry Coleman Herndon and her husband, Buster, of Spurger; Bo Coleman of Lumberton; and Judy Coleman Jordan and her husband, Darren, of Lumberton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brothers, Vurnis Coleman and his wife, Judy, of Kirbyville; Paul Coleman and his wife, Mary Ann, of Voth; and Ray Coleman and his wife, Melinda; of Kountze; and sister, Geraldine Rainer of Lumberton. He is preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of Mr. Coleman's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
