Marjorie Crider Hornbuckle, 91, of Sour Lake, died peacefully in her sleep at her home of 50 years, April 18, 2013. Marge was born on August 13, 1921, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, to Mary Twyman Crider and Dewitt T. Crider. Marge was a devoted soul mate, housewife, mother, and grandmother. Her home was a haven, the kitchen her altar, and hospitality a form of worship. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Bob Hornbuckle Sr.; beloved son, Randy Hornbuckle; and brother, Gerald T. Crider. Survivors include her son, Bob Hornbuckle, Jr.; daughters, Maribeth Jones and Susan Lydic; 10 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and adopted grandchildren. A gathering of Mrs. Hornbuckle's family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
