Lynn E. Hollister, 81, of Lumberton, died Friday, October 11, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on May 9, 1932, in Saratoga, to Elsie W. Walston Hollister and Bert W. Hollister, and had been a longtime resident of Hardin County. Lynn was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was an accountant with his company Tax Savers in Beaumont. Lynn is survived by his wife, Ann Drake Hollister; children, Mike Bayless and his wife, Connie and LeAn Norman and her husband, Jerry, all of Lumberton; Lori Smith and her husband, Brian, of Canton, Georgia; and Jani Lewis and her husband, Don, of Friendswood; grandchildren, Melanie Daniels and her husband, Brandon, of Port Acres; Teri Hawthorne and her husband, Chad, of Lumberton; Amanda Desai and her husband, Kirtan, of Waxhaw, North Carolina; Kacie Martin and her husband, Corwin, of Lumberton; Jill Waldrep and her husband, Kristopher, of Beaumont; Cody Mitchell of Lumberton; Lacey Atkins and Reece Mitchell, both of Beaumont; Jessica Smith of Canton, Georgia; Zachary Lewis of Friendswood; Jessi Mitchell of Lumberton; and Savannah Smith of Canton, Georgia; eleven great- grandchildren; sister, Betty McDuff and her husband, Colman, of Montgomery; and sister- in-law, Toby Hollister of Saratoga. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tilman Hollister. A gathering of Mr. Hollister's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2013, at Christian Fellowship, 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont with interment to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee.
