We were saddened to hear that our Aunt Rose passed away but grateful to have spent some time with her in the last few years. She often said she wish The Lord would take her because she was tired. We love and miss you already and know you are now Resting In Paradise with Our Lord, your loving husband and other family members. Special thanks to all family and friends that helped care for her over the years.

My condolences to Paul/Emma and the Sturdevant Family. I was sadden to hear of "Miss Rose's" ( as she was so affectionally called by many of the children on Poplar Street) demise.
She will certainly be remembered as part of the village that helped to rear so many of us during the 40's and 50's.
