Cecil F. Kegley

Cecil Francis Kegley, 97, of Bedford, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012. He was born in Gordonsville, on July 27, 1915 a son of the late Muncey Edward Kegley and Elizabeth Willard Gill Kegley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters, Dixie K. Marlowe and Kathryn K. Steele. He was owner and operator of Phillips and Craghead TV. He is survived by his wife of 75 years Kathryn Goode Kegley; a daughter, Gloria Kerns and husband, Richard of Johns Creek, GA; four grandchildren, Leslie M. Rutkowski and husband, Bill; D. Dean Steele, Carrie K. Kerns and Kevin C. Kerns and his wife, Robyn; two nieces, Maddie Haskell and Libby Howell. A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, with Rev. Mark Wilkerson officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
