Heaven received another angel when Jim Chambers, 54 of Huddleston, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at his home. Jimâ€™s love for his family and friends was immeasurable. Jim never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching Nascar racing. He was born on Monday, April 20, 1959 in Bedford, a son of the late Clarence J. Chambers, Sr. and Clarice C. Williams Chambers. Jim is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Kimm Chambers; his daughter, Brittany Cook & husband, Glenn of Huddleston; his granddaughter, Kaydence Cook of Huddleston; his brother, Jewel Chambers & wife, Helen of Huddleston; his sister, Sharon Newman & husband, David, Jr. of Bedford, brother-in-law, John Brunette, Jr. of AZ and several dear nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. David Timma & Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
