Paul R. Witt

Paul Russell Witt, 47 of Chatham, went home Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1965 in Lynchburg, a son of Jack Peters and Betty Moles Peters of Moneta, who survive. He was an employee of Arrington's Construction. He loved his bike, WARPIG, fishing and drag racing. He had a kind heart and never failed his family and friends. In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by his wife, Sheila Oakes Witt; his daughter, Emily G. Wright of Chatham; his step-son, Melvin G. Walker III of Glade Hill; his sister, Debra Dooley and husband, Kyle of Bedford; his brothers, Ricky Witt and wife, Denise, J. B. Peters, all of Bedford; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at 11 am at Flint Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Dooley officiating. A little while and you will see me no longer and a little while, and you will see me. John 16:16.
