Charlie Fleenor, 89, of Bedford, died Sunday, April 14, 2013. He was born in Osaka, VA on April 13, 1924 a son of the late, Lawrence Morgan Fleenor and Frona Ferrell Fleenor. Charlie was retired from Rubatex Corp. and a member of Thaxton Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Miller Fleenor and his second wife, Peggy Francisco Fleenor; a daughter, Mary Jo Quist; sisters, Lucia Clark and Billie Jo Marcum; brothers, Earl, Columbus, Gene, Fred Fleenor; a granddaughter, Mary Beth Williams and a grandson, Jimmy Williams. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Aughey; a son, Mark Fleenor and wife, Shelly; step children, Charlotte Lawrence, Buddy Lawrence and Tommy Lawrence and his wife, Beth; Four Grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Thaxton Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Thaxton Baptist Church Cemetery.
