Memorial Service to be held for Earl "Macon" Vaughan Sr., 79, who died on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 in Chesapeake. Macon and his wife, Bonna J. Swoope Vaughan (of Clifton Forge) had retired to Bedford after his 32 years at Ford Motor Company. Macon remained in their home after Bonna's death as long as his health allowed. For much of his last year, he lived in Chesapeake enjoying time with his brother, four children, nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Service will be at Center Point United Methodist Church on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 3 pm. Pastors William Clark and Jack Davis will be officiating.
