Irvin Lee Woolfolk, 83, of Bedford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. He was born in Bedford on Aug. 29, 1932 a son of the late, Charles Irvin Woolfolk and Mildred Brown Woolfolk. After 30 years of crane operation, Irvin returned to his home place to continue his familyâ€™s heritage of farming. In leisure he and Betty traveled the country in their RV, making friends and memories all along the way. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Linwood Woolfolk; his aunt, Mary Barnett. He is survived by his wife, of 32 years, Betty White Woolfolk; two nephews, Roy Lee Woolfolk and Charles Irvin Woolfolk, III and wife, Beth; his step sons, Jeffrey Scott Markham and Gregory Todd Markham; a special granddaughter, Summer Markham; Inseparable brother-in-law, Johnny Barfield and sister-in-law, Joanne Barfield; brother-in-law, Tommy Stanley; Many nieces, nephews and cousins including a special niece, Bonnie Carter. Memorial contributions may be made to Cool Spring Pentecostal Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, at Burch-Messier Walnut St. Chapel with Dr. Rusty Craig and Rev. Larry Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 â€" 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Burch-Messier Walnut St. Chapel.
