James R. â€œJimâ€ Wray, 79, of Bedford went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 26, 2014 after a long illness. He enjoyed nature, the outdoors, building, hiking and repairing trails. He retired from Rowe Furniture after 42 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, C.E. and Aradna Wray and a brother, John A. Wray. Left to cherish his Memory is his wife, Nancy Smith Wray of Bedford; children, Terry Wray and Gina of Charlotte, NC, Michael Wray and Marlene, Denise Beverly and Michael all of Boones Mill; stepchildren, Ginger Wynn and Mike of Roanoke, Valerie Martin and Bobby of Moneta, and Joey Smith and Joyce of Union Hall; brother, Kenneth A. Wray and Marie of Boones Mill; sister, Phyllis Poff and Gene of Salem; papa Jim loved his nine grandchildren and great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers send donations to
