John Richard Tweedy died Tuesday, June 7, 2016. He had a full and varied life. He was a farmer, miner, soldier in cold war Germany, medic for two tours in Vietnam, OR Tech, pharmaceutical salesman and banquet server. He was the son of John and Virginia Tweedy. He is survived by his partner of 33 years, Larry Wilshusen, by sisters Virginia Bryan, Susan Blankenship (Robert), Margie Eanes, niece and nephews, Sandra Burks, Wayne Bryan, John Bryan and five grandnieces and nephews. Funeral is June 20th, 9 a.m. at Arizona Marana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona.
