Marcus Willis Peters, 33, of Big Island died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 due to injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born in Lynchburg on Jan. 21, 1980 a son of Brenda Whorley Peters of Big Island and the late Samuel Lester Peters. Marcus was employed by Arringtonâ€™s Tire and was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church. Marcus enjoyed his Wahooâ€™s, Redskins, Red Soxâ€™s and his Jeepâ€™s. He loved his mother, four wheeling and riding the parkway. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Oscar Lee Peters and wife, Sheree; nieces and nephews, Khamerhyn, Lailah, Adam, Sierra and Gabriella; his aunts and uncles, Rachel Wright and Robert; Larry Whorley and Brenda; Nancy Whorley; Barbara McKinney; Marie Williams and Sonny; numerous other loving family members and friends. Memorials may be made to any charity involving children especially, autism and cancer. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 at Hunting Creek Baptist Church with Rev.
