Paris Breeding, 82, of Forest, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Prenter, WV on Feb. 7, 1931 a son of the late Paris Breeding and Pearl M. Breeding. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, James Leonard Breeding and Lawrence Ballard Breeding; two sisters, Vena B. Crisp and Zella Smith. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Oakland United Methodist Church. Paris was survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois Foster Breeding; his children, Valrie B. Hopkins and Jenny B. Shumate both of Greensboro, NC; Garnett P. Breeding and his wife, Linda of Mount Lake Terrace, WA; Kay Elizabeth Breeding of Richmond; his grandchildren, Stephen N. Breeding, Madeline Shumate, Richard Paris Breeding and his wife, Victoria; Eric Breeding, Angela B. Nisbet and her husband, Marshall, Amanda Breeding; two great-granddaughters; a sister, Marie B. Hudson of Lynchburg. In lieu of flowers please consider a charity of your choice. A memorial service was held 12 noon Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at Oakland United Methodist Church with Rev.
