Robert Alton “Quincy� Walter, 82, of Goode, VA, died July 2, 2012 due to a violent auto accident. Born August 19, 1929 in Jennerstown, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Esther Rosella (Allison) Walter. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years the former Ruth “Mimi� Syphrit, his son Craig and fiance Crystal Marston, of Goode, daughter Kara married to Glen Farnsworth, of Weston, FL., and grandchildren Briana, Ciara and Blake Farnsworth. Quincy and Mimi retired to Goode, with a desire to continue boating at Smith Mountain Lake. A Celebration of Quincy's life will be held at their home, 205 Meadow Hill Cir., Goode, Sunday July 29th, from 2-4 pm. Please join them then.
