Warren "Benny" Tuck, 60 of Moneta, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at his home. He was born on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1952 in Bedford County, a son of the late Warren James Tuck and Ruth Elizabeth Harris Tuck. He was a Machinist with Norfolk Southern Railroad and was also a farmer. He was also a very involved, lifetime member of Radford Baptist Church. Surviving is his loving wife of forty years, Debra Ramsey Tuck; a son, Keith B. Tuck and wife, Holly of Moneta; two daughters, Amanda T. Craft of Christiansburg, Melanie T. Hurley and husband, Chuck of Moneta; three sisters, Betty T. Dellis and husband, Dennis of Huddleston, Barbara T. Mullins and husband, Larry, Bonnie T. Bates and husband, Karl of Moneta; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Benjamin Craft, Erica, Andrew, Danielle and Sarah Tuck, Peyton Hurley; his mother-in-law, Eunice F. Ramsey of Bedford; his sister-in-law, Rita Lipscomb and husband, Lynwood of Bedford as well as many other loving family members, friends and co-workers. The family requests that those wishing to make memorials to consider Duke Cancer Institute, Office of Development, DUMC 3828, Durham, NC 27710 and earmark it for Melanoma Research. Funeral services was held on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at 11 am at Radford Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hofheinz officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
