BELLBROOK — Marjorie Irene Borger, 88, of Bellbrook, passed away Friday Sept. 26, 2014 at Liberty of Beavercreek. She was born Nov. 10, 1925 in Xenia to her late parents Catherine (Holbert) Toner and Raymond Toner. She and her late husband Robert H. Borger formerly worked as the caretakers of Rocky Fork Lake Campgrounds. Marjorie was a giving and loving mother and grandmother who loved church and shopping. She enjoyed camping and boating, dancing and reading, sitting in the sun, but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren. Some of her favorite places on earth were Rocky Fork Lake, Stone Mountain, GA, St. Louis and the Amish Country. She was preceded in death by three brothers Raymond Toner, Homer Toner and Carl Toner, two sisters Mary Montgomery and Betty Martin. Marjorie is survived by two daughters Vickie Metzler (Joe) and Linda King (Richard), son Bobby Borger (Alena), five grandchildren Jennifer Rainwater (Andrew), Danny Metzler, Andrew Tipton (Monica), Christy Graham (Adam) and Bobby Borger, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren Carlena, David, Betty, Anita (John) and Benjamin (Velana), eleven step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 pm noon at CONNER & KOCH FUNERAL HOME, 92 W. Franklin St. (937-848-6651). A life celebration will be held at 12:00 pm noon at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Santoro officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery Xenia.
