Bill and LaVerne were dear friends of my parents. Bill worked with my father and even after they moved they kept a correspondence. My first beagle puppy came in a box from them. I still use my IBP steak knives I received for a wedding present. My heartfelt sympathies go to the family and hope that special memories of a wonderful man will comfort them during their sorrow.

I first met Bill in 1959 at a surveying course at BJC. The class met on the football field.I usually arrived late and would be greeted by bill's booming voice across the field.

My condolences to the Baltz Family, you have my sympathy.
I met Bill in 1999 working for Farmland in Crete Nebraska; Bill taught me many things over the years and was always someone I could call and ask his opinion on any projects or issues that we were dealing with in our facility.
Bill was very knowledgeable and a true professional! Most of all, Bill was a very nice man and he will be sadly missed by all!

Bill and I worked on many projects with IBP Swift and farmland operations. He was a true professional with an eye for detail. He was easy to work with. His first snow skiing was with us and our kids in CO -I think 1988/9. His contributions will be missed.
