Linus Stephenson
Linus E. Stephenson, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born March 6, 1931, in Rock Falls, Ill., died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Mr. Stephenson had worked for Moto Mart and was a member of the Collinsville Emergency Management. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Margo Royer; and parents, Frank M. and Lelia, nee Jackson, Stephenson.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne A., nee Aper, Stephenson of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Feb. 15, 1952; and two grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with Pastor John Lottes officiating. A private burial will take place at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Sterling, Ill.
