Lou Harrison
R. Lou Harrison, 81, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Wednesday, July 1, 1931, in St. Louis, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon, Ill.
Lou was a State Farm Agent for 41 years and was an income tax preparer. He was a U.S. Korean War Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell H. and Cleo M., nee Morton, Harrison; and brothers, Glenn Harrison and Thomas Harrison.
Surviving are his daughters, Vicki Harrison of San Diego, Calif., and Terri Freeland of San Diego, Calif.; special friend, Sally A. Medder of Fairview Heights, Ill.; son, Dr. Mark Medder of O Fallon, Ill.; granddaughter, Alexandria Medder; sister-in-law, Dee Harrison; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Andrew Kramer officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
