Pamela Scott
Pamela Audrey Scott, 53, of Kirkwood, Mo., born Sept. 25, 1959, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at her home with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pamela grew up in the Caseyville, Ill., area. She had over 30 years of dedicated service in private banking with U.S. Bank in St. Louis and cherished her bank family through the years. She was a 1977 graduate of Collinsville High School and was an avid fan of the Big Bang Theory television show and playing badminton, but she despised raking leaves. Her parents had a great influence on her life. She could not wait to spend time with mom on their Sunday visits and her many "black Friday" shopping sprees. Pam followed her father's love of baseball, becoming a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan and later supported the American Parkinson Association in memory of her father. Pam was always trying to help others and was a proud supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Siteman Cancer Center and enjoyed her part in the Rock-n-Roll Marathon and Pedal for the Cure.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne E. Vollmar.
In addition to her beloved mother, Bernice, nee Lay, Vollmer of Collinsville, Ill., she is survived and will never be forgotten by her cherished daughters, Rachel Mestemacher, Myah Scott and Taylor Scott, all of Kirkwood, Mo.; her loving and devoted partner of 13 years, Orlando Brimmage of Kirkwood, Mo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Virginia Vollmar of Granite City and Dennis and Karen Vollmar of Collinsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Steve Holicka of Troy, Mo.; her lifelong family friend, Kathy Plurard of St. Louis; her dear pets, Oreo the dog and Lewis the cat; other extended family; her bank family; and a host of friends.
Memorials are appreciated and may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis to support colon cancer research or to Pam's daughters and may be accepted at the funeral home. www.irwinchapel.com
