To our wonderful son , I just want you to know how very sorry I am. God only took your dad so soon because he couldnt bear to see him suffer anymore on earth. He had a greater plan in heaven for him. Son your dad loved you so much, and is so very proud of you. I know this isnt easy for any of us. He will be greatly missed. We need to wake up and remember the jokes he told us daily and how much he smiled and laughed. How hard he worked each day to make someone else have a better day. How his greatest accomplishment in life was YOU. He is my best friend and I will confide in him still. Hes with us still , he is our angel now. If you look for his signs, you will see. I love you buddy from dad and mom.

I spent time with Guy on and off since i was 11 years old. He always was kind to me. He was quite helpful escorting my family through the V.P. Fair crowds. It was like having a personal body guard I imagine. I knew him as bold, cheerful and free-spirited. He had an off-color humor. Most times I would laugh, other times...just shake my head and ask him to stop it. Even when I knew he was telling "tall-tales" it didn't keep me from liking him. I rather spend time with Guy, than any of the arrogant people in this world. Last week I rolled my eyes and said how my Daughter had "caught" his laugh. I really didn't mind though because Guy had a wonderful laugh! Now, I hope she doesn't loose it. I told Guy how I prayed for 45 minutes one night and the Holy Spirit healed my leg... how warm and alarming it was. He believed me. He trusted me. I am thankful for his life and feel peace that we talked about God several times before. No one is perfect and life is distracting. Our real treasure is the treasure of eternal life with our Heavenly Father. It is not a fairy-tale! I am praying for you little Guy...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We are so sorry about your loss. It does not seem right to have so much grief in such a short time. I know that our Father provides comfort to those that need Him and call on his name. I cannot even imagine what little Guy is going through. Please except our condolences and know that your family is in our prayers. We will be unable to make it Saturday. We already had prior obligations. Our prayers and comfort to you all.

Margie & Family
I am so, so sorry for your loss, you just lost Johnny & now this. I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose my daughter. My heart feels sad for you and your family but, know that you are all in my prayers. Just remember what my mom always said "God never gives us more than we can handle and it is not ours to question why". Remember you are surrounded by a wonderful family your daughter Kathy, all your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They will be your rock to help you through this time of pain and heartache. Always remember you also have your friends and your friends children, like myself. I am sending hugs to comfort you and your family.

I grew up with Guy grade school and on. We sure had some fun times out on the lake at his house. I ran into him not long ago at Walmart and we chatted for awhile. He was funny as always. He was such a nice, friendly dude and I'm so sorry his time on earth was so short. Praying for little Guy, Mom, and rest of family to have strength during this difficult time.
