Bozsa, Louetta - Freeburg  
Louetta Bozsa Louetta Bozsa, nee Cox, 89 of Freeburg, Ill., born Dec. 4, 1925, in Greene County, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, Ill. Mrs. Bozsa worked as a meat cutter at Swift and Hunter Packing Plants, East St. Louis, Ill., and also worked at Gilster-Mary Lee Corp, in Steeleville, Ill., before her retirement. Louetta was very proud of the fact that she could pick 400 pounds of cotton a day when she lived in Arkansas. Louetta was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bozsa; a son, Gerold Bozsa; her parents, E.P. and Pansy, nee Taylor, Cox; four brothers, Junior, Price, Chester, and Larry Cox; and two sisters, Pat Smith and Peggy Phillips. Surviving are two sons, Robert Bozsa of New Athens, Ill., and James (Nancy) Bozsa of Freeburg, Ill.; four grandchildren, Wendi Mulkey, Robert Bozsa Jr., Joe Bozsa, and Sara (Alex) Finch; four great-grandchildren, T.J. Imel, Kaili Marriner, and Ava and Addison Finch; two sisters, Flora Sullivan, and Carolyn Manuel; a sister-in-law, Barbara Cox; and a brother-in-law, Bob Smith. Brauer, Bruce - Smithton  
Bruce Brauer Bruce A. Brauer, 59, of Smithton, Ill., born Jan. 23, 1956, in Belleville, Ill., died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at his residence. Bruce was a graduate of St. Teresa Grade School, Belleville Township High School East, and Bailey Technical School. He worked in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed working in his garden, music, trivia, and helping others with maintenance, especially his parents and the Autumn Ridge community in Smithton. Bruce also enjoyed being Santa's helper on Christmas Eve. He will be greatly missed. Bruce was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lillian, nee Felts, Brauer and Theodore and Caroline, nee Becherer, Baechle; numerous aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends. Surviving are his parents, Bill and Betty Jane, nee Baechle, Brauer of Smithton, Ill.; two brothers, Robert "Bob" (Judy) Brauer of Shiloh, Ill., and Bradley (Linda) Brauer of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Brenda (Michael) Dinges of Arnold, Mo.; nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, cousins, and friends.
