Aldon Hagen Sr.
Aldon Henry Hagen Sr., 75, of Lenzburg, Ill., born July 28, 1937, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at his residence, with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Hagen was the former plant supervisor for Roesch Enamel in Belleville, Ill. He was also a truck driver No. 311 retired from J-C Hauling Company in Millstadt, Ill., where he was known as "Big Al, the trucker's pal."
Aldon was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ladonna Elizabeth, nee Lemler, Hagen; many aunts and uncles; and beloved cousins.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sharon, nee Goodman, Hagen, whom he married on Oct. 26, 1967; three sons and two daughters, Aldon Hagen of Red Bud, Ill., Shawn (Amie) Hagen, Christopher Hagen and Kristin (Jeremy) Murray, all of Lenzburg, Ill., and Mandy Hagen (Joseph Jouglard) of Marissa, Ill.; 18 grandchildren, Aldon, Richard, Daniel, James, Renee, Brianna, Blake, Hunter, Alyssa, Keegan, Christopher, Brooklyn, Kaleb, Lainey, Coltyn, Madison, Blaize and Bryson; five great-grandchildren, Julia, Lindsey, Izaiah, Aubree, and Journee; and his sister, Florence C. Hagen of Lenzburg, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, Ill., with the Rev. Cari Frus officiating.
