Doris C. Woodrum, nee Haas, 83, of Mascoutah, Ill., born Nov. 9, 1929, in New Athens, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Doris was a homemaker and a retired employee of
Mascoutah School District 19 and the Grange Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Childhood Church, Mascoutah, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane M. Woodrum; a son, Mark Woodrum; her parents, Lorence B. and Theresa, nee Wuebbels, Haas; two brothers, Lawrence "Pete" and Norbert Haas; a sister, Bernice Schneider; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Surviving are her husband, William "Bill" Woodrum of Masoutah, Ill., whom she married May 1, 1952, in Bryan, Texas; her children, Deborah A. Law of Mascoutah, Ill., and Bruce Woodrum of Mascoutah, Ill.; grandchildren, Brian Woodrum of Phoenix, Ariz., and Bradley Woodrum of Lenzburg, Ill.; sisters, Rose Medukas of Grand Rapids, Mich., Betty Gardner of Belleville, Ill., Frances (Curt) Graul of Mascoutah, Ill., Bernadine Wells of Spring Hill, Fla., and Carol (Matt) Dunn of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Dave (Trudy) Haas of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Arlene Haas of Mascoutah, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, Ill., with Monsignor Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Cemetery, Mascoutah, Ill.
