Dorothy M. Astemborski, nee Street, 85, of Caseyville, Ill., born Sept. 1, 1928, in Muskegon Heights, Mich., died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Dorothy was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill., and was a eucharistic minister at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill. She was a member and president of St. Ann Altar Society at St. Stephen Church, Senior Citizens, Caseyville, Ill., L.I.F.T. Illinois and the Red Hat Society Ruby Bells.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William John Astemborski; her parents, Carl Samson and Pearl Cathrine, nee Knowles, Street; and great-grandchildren, Deontay and Paige.
Surviving are her children, David (Kelly) Astemborski of Lakewood, Colo., and Amy Ackerson (Larry) of North Hyde Park, Vt.; her grandchildren, Amber (Jonathan), Victoria, Tyler (Rachel), Matthew, Hope (Shannon) and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren, Candace, Ana and Bella, Lailani and Landon, Bailey, Maybel, Carlie, Sadie and Veronica, her brothers, Clyde (Mary) Street of Wisconsin and Thomas (Mary) Street of Wisconsin; a sister, Carlene (Richard) Nadeau of Jacksonville, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Dolores, Richard, and Rose.

Funeral: Funeral procession to leave at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, from Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill., for a noon Mass of Christian burial at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill., with Father Ray Schultz officiating.
A Graveside visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis. Committal service at 1 p.m. Monday at the cemetery with Father Brian Holbus officiating.
