George W. Busch, 77, of Granite City, Ill., born Feb. 1, 1936, in Brownstown, Ill., passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mr. Busch worked for Complete Auto Transit "CAT" as a car hauler for 45 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army
who served in Korea, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly "Sue", nee Lash, Busch, whom he married on June 20, 1957, in Greenville, Ill., and who died Oct. 30, 2004; parents, Frank and Lois, nee Post, Busch; sister, Barbara Klienk; and a grandchild.
Surviving are his two daughters and a son-in-law, Denise and Dewayne Cann of Madison and Georgie Busch of St. Louis; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Sallie Busch of Granite City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother and his wife, Ron and Barb Busch of Greenville.

Visitation: Friends may all from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory, Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.
