Glenda R. Smith, nee Hall, 64, of Carlinville, Ill., born Sept. 14, 1948, in Fulton, Ky., died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
She was a retired service representative from Social Security Administration. Glenda was an avid quilter and enjoyed her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl R. and Florence E., nee Lucroy, Hall; and two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Hayley Cheek.
Surviving are her husband, Mark M. Smith whom she married in Moro, Ill., on May 24, 1997; a son, Mark (Michele) Blunt of Mascoutah, Ill.; a daughter, Kim (Todd) Cheek of Pontiac, Ill.; father of Glenda's children, Bruce Blunt of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren, Taylor and Cameron Blunt, and Peyton and Trinity Cheek; a brother, Carl "Bud" (Mary Ann) Hall of Troy, Ill.; and her mother-in-law, Virginia Smith of Woodriver, Ill.
