Mabel DeMage
Mabel M. DeMage, 94 of Maryville, Ill., born July 5, 1922 in Redford, Mo., passed away at 1:32 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, Ill.
Mabel retired from the former Famous Barr after many years of service in sales. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill., and loved to play bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Audie and Dora Bell, nee Helvey, Price; her husband, Frank DeMage; two daughters, Nancy Rachell and Janet DeMage; three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Frank (Judy) DeMage of Blue Springs, Mo., and Chris (Jeannie) DeMage of New Baden, Ill.; a daughter, Joan (Larry) Descher of Maryville, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Al (Jackie) Price of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Lloyd Price of St. Charles, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be in the form of Masses, and will be accepted during the visitation. For condolences go to barrywilsonfuneralhome.com.
Visitation: Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial Mass will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Maryville, Ill., with Father Joseph Havrilka celebrant. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., at a later date.
