Margaret Craig

Margaret E. Craig, nee Brown, 80, of Maryville, Ill., born December 1, 1932, in Buckner, Ill., passed away at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

She was a retired bank teller and was employed by many banks over her career. Margaret was a certified clown and volunteered in hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, Ill., past member of the Red Hat Society, and Beta Sigma Phi - Collinsville and Florida. She enjoyed playing bridge and other card games, was a skilled and avid golfer, and dog lover.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Craig; parents, Thomas Marion and Ottie, nee McMahon, Brown; and three brothers, Raymond, Charles and John.

Surviving are her four children, Pat (Al) Roseboom of Boca Raton, Fla., Richard (Lisa) Craig of Glen Carbon, Ill., Jim (Karen) Craig of Newtown, Conn., and Jean (Will) Edwards of Highland, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Andrea (Ben) Donsbach of Arnold, Mo., Miranda Ramirez of Highland, Ill., Laura Craig of Berwyn, Ill., Ryan (Bo) Roseboom of Boynton Beach, Fla., Zachary (Miriam) Roseboom of Coral Springs, Fla., Christopher Edwards of Caseyville, Ill., Josh Roseboom of Boca Raton, Fla., Becca Edwards of Highland, Ill., and Sarah Craig of Newtown, Conn.; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Clark of Elkville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be private.
