Alice Kohrs Obituary
Alice Kohrs, 79, of Raytown, Mo., born Aug. 31, 1930, in St. Libory, Ill., passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Cedar Valley Nursing Home.
Alice moved to the Kansas City area in 1963. She was a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Kohrs; her parents, Henry and Theresia Jansen; two sisters; and a brother.
Surviving are her two children, Beth (Glen) Osborn of Kansas City, Mo., and Kris (Jenni) Kohrs of Belton, Mo.; six brothers; a sister; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Community Hospice, 9740 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, Kan. 66212.
Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday May 23, 2010, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Mo., with a prayer service at 4:30.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 24, at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51st Terrace, Kansas City, Mo.

Sorry to hear about Aunt Alice. 20 years ago, my son and I stopped to see her after Royals-Yankee game and she reminded me how my mother was. She was a kind and warm person.

So sorry to hear about your mother. I know this has been a dfficult time for you both. As you know, Alice was a younger sister to my mother Delores. The distance kept us from seeing much of each other as we grew up. Take care.

Beth, Kris & Family,
I am so saddened with the loss of your mother.
She's always held a very special place in my heart since
I was a little girl.
I remember us all going to Fun House Pizza & having many
famiy BBQ's together. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at
