Allen F. "Ozzie" Coy, 64, of Cahokia, Ill., born March 1, 1941, in Montevideo, Minn., died Friday, March 4, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Coy was employed as an operations manager for Slay Transportation, St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie and Shirley, nee Farmer, Zimmer; an infant son; and his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly, nee Dunlap, Coy; two sons, Dennis (Denise) Coy of Summerdale, Ala., and Matthew (Joni) Coy of Dupo, Ill.; a brother, Brian (Beth) Zimmer of Dupo, Ill.; a sister, Rebecca Zimmer of Belleville, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Jason, Meghann, Timmy, Ryan, Savannah, Mariah and Marisah; his mother-in-law, Connie Dunlap of Cahokia, Ill.; and nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Jenna Zimmer of Dupo, Ill. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill. Private cremation will be held.
