Allen G. Bloodworth, 35, of Granite City, Ill., born July 15, 1976, in Granite City, Ill., died at 6:48 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 , in Granite City, Ill.
Mr. Bloodworth was employed by Delivery Logistics as a driver. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City, Ill., and Knights of Columbus Council No. 1098. He had retired from the Madison Fire Dept.
Allen was preceded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth Skinner and Vanessa Cox.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon E., nee Collins, Bloodworth, whom he married on Oct. 30, 1999, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, Ill.; daughters, Kathryn, Abigail and Samantha Bloodworth, all at home; parents, Joseph A. Bloodworth and Joan C., nee Kahren, Bloodworth of Granite City, Ill.; brothers, John (Shirley) Lake and Gervais "Jerry" Lake, both of Granite City, Ill.; sister-in-law, Teri Lake of Granite City, Ill.; wife's parents, Greg and Kathy Collins of Cahokia, Ill.; brothers-in-law, Chris (Melanie) Collins of O'Fallon, Mo., and Danny (Mandy) Collins of Cahokia, Ill.; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Bloodworth Benefit Fund in care of Bank of Edwardsville, Ill.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Services will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at the church with Father Chris Comerford officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville, Ill.
