Allen Sikorski

Allen V. Sikorski, 72, of Belleville, Ill., born Tuesday, July 25, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 in Belleville, Ill.

Allen was an artist and craftsman. He founded Sikorski Signs in 1974. Allen's attention to quality and detail and easy manner won customers and made friends over the years before he retired in 2013. He was a lifelong Cub fan. He and his wife were regular volunteers on the Blessed Sacrament St. Vincent DePaul "soup bus" helping our neighbors. Allen was a kind and thoughtful soul, and most importantly, he was a wonderful husband and devoted father. He will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysious and Roselyn, nee Smith, Sikorski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Martha O'Malley; brother-in-law, Michael O'Malley; and a niece, Tina Sikorski.
