Angela E. Cass-Prost, nee Saeger, 66, of Waterloo, Ill., born Jan. 26, 1950, in Lebanon, Mo., died July 7, 2016, in St. Louis, Mo.
Angela was retired from Jefferson Barracks Veterans Administration Hospital (Spinal Cord Injury Unit). She was a former board member of Human Support Service and Sierra Club. Her professional affiliations included Psi Chi National Honor Society and MO Licensed Professional Counselors (board member 1993-1999). Angela was a published author and experienced speaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M. and Evelyn E., nee Bouknight, Saeger; and a sister, Vivian Smith.
Surviving are her husband, Tom Prost; son, U.S. Air Force Captain Levi B. Cass (combat rescue officer); grandson, Nick Cass; sisters, Nancy (Jim) Sober, Joan (Ken) Harris and Rita (John) Cole; mother-in-law, Betty Prost; stepdaughters; step-granddaughters; step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; great-niece; great-nephew; and cousins.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016, and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo, Ill., with Father Roger Karban officiating. Interment will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo, Ill.
