Anita Sue Gregorich, 61, of Belleville, Ill., born Friday, June 25, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Caseyville, Ill.
Anita graduated from St. Cyril Grade School and St. Teresa Academy Class of 1972. Attending DePaul College and graduating from St. Louis Forest Park Nursing Program. She began a career at Touchette Hospital in Centreville, Ill., and spent the last 27 years working in the Neonatal (NIC) unit at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She will be missed by all those babies and is rocking those in heaven who have gone before her.
She had a loving giving family at Cardinal Glennon and those of us that held her dear to our hearts. She will be so missed but has made us all even more aware of ourselves and having regular mammograms and keeping up with our own health care a priority. There isn't always tomorrow.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, F.R. and Winiford Marie Halasey whom were from East St. Louis, Ill.; and very special people in her life, Richard "Stog" Stogner and Janet Stogner-Sudduth.
Surviving are her mother, Angeline "JoAnne" nee Halasey, Gregorich of Belleville, Ill.; brother, Edward F. Halasey of New Baden, Ill.; and numerous aunt, cousins, and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, in the mausoleum chapel at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
There was a private memorial service held at Cardinal Glennon.
